10th Anniversary West of England Judo Camp 2009 (Pontins, Brean)

Friday 8th - Sunday 10th May 2009 - Guest Coach, Gerogina Singleton, European and Commonwealth Gold medallist 2002.

Again the sun was shining at Brean, although a little windy on Saturday. Approx 175 people attended from age 6 months to 65! Twenty families from New Star headed down the M5, with cars packed to the brim.

We had a judo session on Friday night led by John Bath. Georgina arrived on Saturday to take the sessions, which were enjoyed by all!

The evening entertainment was the best we ever had, lead on the first night by the Shane Ritcher the younger! We had our annual Bristol BBQ, unfortunately on disposable BBQ's this year, as we couldn't use the gas one! Kareoke was very popular again on Saturday, altough all were very good, one of our little stars shone again, as she had done last year, Holly W singing Hallelujah, which moved everyone!
