New Star Ashton Judo Club - Club Information
New Star Ashton Judo Club caters for
both children from 5 years old and Adults.
The club boots the largest
permant laid done mat area in the South West, it is situated near
Sainsbury's on Winterstoke Road in Ashton.
John Bath, 3rd dan, Senior
Club Coach & Head Coach is also Boys western Area coach, took
over the club in 2001 linking it to New Star Patchway, which he
started in 1981.
Judy Maslen, 1st dan,
Club Coach, has been with John since his early Patchway days, and
was John's first player to achieve her black belt, Judy needs 7
pints for her 2nd dan and is still competing.
Mat fees
These apply from Thursday 1st February 2007.
Ashton mat fees (per session):
- Members £2.50
- Non members £3.00
If you would like to spread the cost of the
membership, please speak to Julie. All memberships include free
family entry to any parties at Ashton (except New Years eve).
