Sunday 18th May - New Star Ashton Competition

Under 8's Training Session & Over 8's 'Orange Belt and Under' Interclub

In the Under 8's training session, everyone put in a great effort and did themselves proud. Well done to Amy, Steph, Ryan Nathan H, Nathan W, Jack, Tommy and Harvey. Congratulations to Lucy and Finley who won all their fights!

Well done to all those who took part in the Interclub. Congratulations to Ben, Dominic, Cameron N and Tom who each came away with Gold; to Myles and Kieran who narrowly missed out on Gold to take the Silver, and to Reece and Luke who took bronze

Worth a special mention - Reece, who in winning his third fight provided one of the most gritty and exciting fights of the day, and Myles, who narrowly missed out on gold despite a real attacking performance in the closely fought final of his group - a contest which went the whole distance. These fights were typical of the high quality of Judo on display - well done all!
