Saturday 28th June 2008 - St Michael's School Demonstration
Well we couldn't have hoped for better weather on Saturday
for our demonstration at St Michael's School in Stoke Gifford.
Fifteen judoka from New Star Patchway and St Michael's gave
a great demo of warming up, ne waza (groundwork) and tachi
waza (throws). Many thanks to John Wheeldon, Bristol County
Coach, for running the demo and for taking the Patchway sessions
in the morning, while our coaches supported our older judoka
at the Kent International competition.
If you saw the demo and fancy having a go, why not come along
to Patchway Youth Centre on a Saturday Morning - the under
8's session starts at 9.30 and the over 8's start at 10:30
- all are welcome and the first session is free!
