Sunday 6 July 2008 - Patchway Community Sports Association Demo - Scott Park
Despite the grey clouds looming overhead on Sunday, John, Alison and Luke
and 19 willing judoka reported for duty on the mats at the Patchway Sports
Association's "Get into Sport" day. Not quite sure how we managed
to escape the downpours earlier in the morning (or later in the afternoon)
but the rain stayed away (as did most of Patchway, unfortunately! - must
have been those grey clouds!)
The highlight of the day had to be the juniors doing their excellent
self-defence demo and the flying display (check out the photos!)
